Getting Ready for the MYP

This week the Grade 6 students say good-bye to the PYP and hello to the MYP. They and their teachers have worked hard in preparation for the rigors of Grade 7. The latest (and last) Digi-Time looked ahead to upcoming changes in classes and technology access.

They learned about how to navigate the Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (a.k.a.: Moodle), determined strategies for managing 24/7 laptop access, and, as their first MYP Design project, used Illustrator to create posters to encourage the incoming Grade 6 students.

Here’s a sampling of the wisdom handed down from the outgoing MYP students to the future Grade 6 class.
